'ink' is a stationery and art shop that exists to encourage people to find joy in creativity. They wanted a distinctive logo that looks and feels handmade - imperfections welcomed and embraced!
For this project, I closed the computer and got my art supplies out. The logo is created by handwriting the word 'ink' in masking fluid. I then splashed ink down on the paper from a height to create the splash effect. Once it was fully dry, I scraped off the masking fluid to reveal the word and tidied up the design (a little) in Photoshop.
The result is a genuinely handmade logo that fulfils the brief.
